vivo V70's FCC certification reveals new details

 The vivo V70 was recently certified for sale in India, and now it's also passed through the FCC, confirming its global launch. The FCC certification has revealed that the phone will run Android 16 when it lands, undoubtedly with OriginOS 6 on top.


The V70 supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC. One version will have 12GB of R


AM and 256GB of storage. According to a recent Geekbench listing, there will also be an option with 8GB of RAM, and the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.

Different chipset aside, the V70 is expected to be a rebranded S50, which got official in China yesterday. If this pans out, then expect the V70 to sport a 6.59-inch 1260x2750 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, a 50MP selfie snapper, and a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging.
